KidovixRec ("the App" or "we") respects and protects user privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when providing recording, device connection, transcription, summarization, real-time translation, voiceprint recognition, to-do list, and account services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: email address, phone number, nickname, user ID, login status, and verification code records.
• User Content: audio files you record, import, upload, or sync; recording names; folder information; transcription text; summaries; mind maps; translation results; to-do items; and voiceprint samples.
• Device Information: recorder serial number, Bluetooth name, binding status, battery level, storage space, firmware version, and connection records.
• Permission-Related Information: microphone for recording, real-time transcription, real-time translation, and voiceprint recording; local network and location permissions for discovering and connecting to nearby recording devices or device hotspots; calendar permission for adding reminders you create to the system calendar.
• Service Logs: to ensure service stability and security, we may record request timestamps, API call statuses, error logs, device types, and necessary diagnostic information.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide account login, authentication, account binding, logout, and account deletion features.
• Save, sync, play, manage, and delete your recording files and related content.
• Generate transcriptions, summaries, mind maps, AI Q&A, real-time transcription, real-time translation, and voiceprint recognition results based on your authorized content.
• Discover, bind, manage recording devices, and sync recording files from devices.
• Maintain service security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product experience.

3. Third-Party Services and AI Data Processing

To provide features that you actively request, such as recording sync, transcription, summaries, mind maps, live translation, voiceprint recognition, and AI Q&A, we may send necessary data to our servers and have it processed by the following third-party service providers only to the extent required for the corresponding feature:

• Tencent Cloud COS: used for audio file storage, upload, download, and sync. It may process audio files, file names, file sizes, upload task information, and necessary account/device identifiers.
• Tencent Cloud Speech Recognition: used for recording transcription and live transcription. It may process the audio streams or audio files you choose to transcribe, language settings, task IDs, and necessary account/device identifiers.
• Tencent Cloud real-time translation / Hunyuan translation: used for live translation. It may process audio, transcript text, translated text, language settings, and task information generated when you actively start translation.
• Tencent Cloud voiceprint recognition: used for voiceprint sample processing and speaker identification. It may process voiceprint samples you actively record and save, voiceprint names, audio segments, and recognition task information.
• Tencent Hunyuan: used for summaries, mind maps, and AI Q&A. It may process transcript text, summary text, questions, retrieved excerpts, language settings, and necessary task information for content you choose to generate or ask about.

The above data is used only to complete features you actively request. We do not use this data for advertising tracking, do not sell it to data brokers, and do not combine it with third-party data for cross-app or cross-website tracking. We require the relevant third-party service providers to protect the data at a level no less protective than this policy.

4. Information Storage and Protection

We implement reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Your account information, recordings, and AI-generated content are stored on servers or in cloud storage as needed for the relevant features; local recording files may also be stored on your device.

5. Your Rights

• You can view and manage your account information within the App.
• You can delete recordings, voiceprint samples, to-do items, and other content you have created.
• You can disable microphone, local network, location, calendar, and other permissions in system settings; disabling these permissions may affect the availability of related features.
• You can request account deletion within the App, or contact us using the information provided in this policy to handle account and data-related requests.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time based on product features, legal requirements, or operational needs. The updated effective date will be displayed on this page; if changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you through in-app notices or other reasonable means.
